Author, speaker, educator, administrator, and artist-entrepreneur, Mark Rabideau is an international leader in helping arts organizations reimagine how to prepare artists to thrive within the contemporary marketplace and respond to the challenges and opportunities we face in the 21st century.

Mark's own entrepreneurial spirit has sparked the launch of a live radio show from NYC's upper-westside (Live from Smoke), which he hosted; the not-for-profit arts organization Artists Now, for which he served as Executive and Artistic Director; an original work with the American Repertory Ballet (Worlds End), that he produced; and founder of Art in Unlikely Places - an ongoing project fueled by the belief that art's transformative powers must be made accessible to the underserved. He is excited to be producing the upcoming recording STILLPOINT (New Amsterdam Records), featuring celebrated pianist and conductor, Awadagin Pratt, two-time Grammy-winning, Roomful of Teeth, and Grammy-nominated, A Far Cry.

As a trombonist, Mark regards his bravest moments as those performing with "The World's Most Dangerous Orchestra" (Juárez, Mexico), and most cherished while commissioning, recording, and performing new chamber music with his quartet, CTQ. His scholarly work has included serving as editor and publisher of 21CM.org (2015-2020), senior editor of Emerging Fields in Music (Routledge), and authoring The 21CM Introduction to Music Entrepreneurship (Rowman & Littlefield, 2017) - recipient of the 2018 Society for Arts Entrepreneurship Educators' Innovative Arts Entrepreneurship Pedagogy Award.

Dr. Rabideau is Associate Dean for Academic and Faculty Affairs for the College of Arts and Media at the University of Colorado - Denver.
