His mailbox was full, and messages were being returned to the listprocessor. This usually results in unsubscription, so to avoid this, his mail preference to "postpone." There are only three individuals who have access to change subscription settings for an individual: 1. The subscriber 2. Eric Nicklas 3. It reminded me of a rather scary/humorous (and lucky!) story: My high school was playing one of our arch-rivals in football for a district playoff game at a "neutral" site. Both schools had to travel about an hour to get there, and it was mostly Texas "Farm to Market" roads. When we arrived, the other band was already there and quite frantic. It turned out that whoever was supposed to make the final check of the under-bus storage did not do it, and the bus took off with the luggage doors down but unlatched. Apparently the bus had periodically ejected instruments for almost the entire 50-mile ride. You might ask, "How could the bus driver and passengers not notice the noise of the luggage doors banging open and shut?" Well, you've obviously not been around high school kids on a band trip in a while . . . . Fortunately for the band, some parents were following about 10 minutes behind and happened to notice band instruments along the road. The picked up all but a few of them, mostly undamaged.
